Family Fun Night at VBS!!
July 20, 2009 – 9:33 pmSeveral people gathered at Bethlehem on Friday night for the final night of VBS. The program opened with the children singing favorite songs from the week. We enjoyed an overview of the Bible lesson for each evening by watching a slide show. The lesson for the evening was from Exodus 14. The Israelites finally got to leave Egypt! Moses, played by teacher Daniel Rothwell, led the Israelites through the Red Sea on dry ground!
One very important aspect of VBS is the mission project for the week. Mulberry International Children’s Ministries was chosen as the project for this year. We will specifically be helping the Chernov family. We collected $1015.00 to help this family.
Following the lesson, everyone enjoyed the food, games, and fellowship!
