Our congregation has been asked to take care of decorating the stage for the Butler Springs Women’s Retreat in May. The theme is “Pottery”. If you have ideas, pottery supplies to use, or can help decorate, please see Linnea Claibourne.
Several projects are underway to help us be both effective and efficient in 2010. Some are individual projects while a few are assisting Tom Claibourne. There are also a few blanks on the 6-month Opportunities for Personal Ministries list. Please sign up for either of these in the foyer.
You may continuue to bring good used clothing to the basement. There is a paper with guidelines available in the foyer. Please label the box or bag to help those who will be sorting. If you have volunteered to sort, please check with the office to make sure the door is unlocked.
This meaningful time of worship has become the highlight of Bethlehem’s Christmas season for many families and individuals. Come celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior in a creative and meditative way.
Make plans to attend the Bethlehem Living Nativity. Highlights of the event will include a stable, animals, manger, and a fire in the main parking lot. There will also be 2 scenes in the basement as well as live music and refreshments in the gym. There will be a story room and a coloring pages room for children. You are welcome to come between the hours of 7:00 and 9:00 pm.
